Hi, my name is Felicia. I am an artist in North Carolina. I have always enjoyed art, along with crafts and writing. These
are my hobbies and I guess some could say, my passions. Well, besides my wonderful husband Jon and my beautiful daughter Zoe.
My favorite part of art is photography, which I just got into abot a year or two ago. Nature is my favorite thing to take
pictures of followed by children and old structures. I also make and sell metel repousse peices. Metal repousse is embossing
a design onto a sheet of metal and then pressing it out to create a three-dimensional look. Most of my peices can be found
at local craft shows and the Carolina Renaissance Festival. My biggest seller is repousse christmas ornaments that are personalized
with the buyers names or whatever they wish to add to it. Among photography and metal repousse, I enjoy painting, drawing,
and am just getting into watercolor.
Other then the art, I enjoy making crafts and other household odds and ends. One of my favorite is dreamcatchers. I make
them from all natural materals. The ring is made from a vine and then dried. I use natural stones and feathers with some occasional
seashell here and there. I have also taught a few classes on makeing dreamcatchers and the true meaning behind them.
I also make candles, soaps, and bathsalts, as well as natural herbal remedies. I prefer to make all of my items with natural
ingredients, but that can't always happen. These items make great Christmas and birthday gifts for friends and family.
Beside the arts and crafts, I love to write. I guess by the above novel you could probably already tell that :0)!!! I
have about a dozen poems published through various poetry contest and one one an audio cassette tape. I just recently started
writhing my first book about family traditions for the eight pagan holidays. I am hoping to have it finished by hte end of
this year. I am also wanting to start a series of childerns pagan books as well as a book on the paranormal, another big interest
of mine.
